The Qatari-Saudi Business Forum was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, during which trade and investment cooperation and ways to achieve economic integration between the two countries were discussed. They also reviewed the areas and investment opportunities available between the two countries.
The Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, stressed that the trade exchange between the two countries has witnessed significant growth over the past years. He expressed his aspiration to increase growth rates, as the forum is an opportunity to inaugurate a new phase of the bilateral relationship and a strategic step towards greater cooperation between the business communities in the two countries. He pointed out the importance of the Joint Business Council being an effective platform for strong economic partnerships that benefit the economies of the two countries, enhance their competitive position globally, and a platform for removing obstacles and obstacles that arise and hinder trade exchange.
Hassan Mojeb al-Huwaizi, head of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, called for establishing partnerships and alliances between Qatari and Saudi businessmen and implementing major projects in the two countries and abroad.
