The Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy in Morocco revealed that tourism revenues in hard currency reached an unprecedented level of 112 billion dirhams in 2024, reflecting a remarkable increase of 43 percent compared to 2019 and 7 percent compared to 2023.
Morocco welcomed 17.4 million tourists, and this dynamic was evident in December 2024, with revenues reaching nearly 8 billion dirhams, an increase of 11 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
These revenues underscore Morocco's growing attractiveness and ability to attract diverse visitors, as evidenced by the significant 20 percent increase in arrivals in 2024.
