Egypt's exports of gold and precious stones jumped 74 percent during the first 11 months of 2024, to record $ 2.85 billion, compared to $ 1.64 billion in the same period of 2023.
The UAE's imports of Egyptian gold and precious stones rose by 103 percent during the January-November period last year, to record $ 1.76 billion, compared to $ 874 million in the same period last year.
Switzerland raised its imports of Egyptian gold by 193 percent to $ 1 billion during the mentioned period, compared to $ 364 million in the same period in 2023.
