Establishment of the First Saudi-Palestinian Business Council

The President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan bin Mujeb Al-Huwaizi, revealed after meeting with Palestinian Ambassador Mazen Ghoneim in Riyadh the agreement to establish the first Saudi-Palestinian Business Council, in a step aimed at raising the volume of trade and investment exchanges between the two countries.

"The private sector keeps pace with the leadership's directions in supporting the Palestinian people, enabling Palestinian business owners to invest in the kingdom, and marketing Palestinian products and industries in Saudi markets," Al-Huwaizi saidHe stressed "the Union's support for holding exhibitions and conferences for marketing and introducing the products of Palestine with the participation of the Chambers of Commerce in Saudi Arabia."

For his part, Ghoneim explained, "The meeting approved practical steps to enhance trade cooperation, including arranging meetings and visits between investors from the two countries, holding an exhibition of Palestinian products in the Kingdom, and forming specialized committees from both sides to achieve the desired goals."
