$6 Trillion GDP Expected For Gulf Countries in 2025

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, predicted that the GDP of the six GCC countries will reach $ 6 trillion during 2025.

During the Gulf dialogue session held within the sessions of the Asian Money Forum 2025 in Hong Kong, Al-Budaiwi noted, "The GCC countries enjoy an important economic position in the world, as the GDP of the GCC countries in 2023 reached about $ 2.1 trillion, and is expected to reach $ 6 trillion by 2025."

He explained, "The total sovereign financial assets in the GCC countries amounted to about $ 3.2 trillion, equivalent to 33 percent of the total sovereign assets in the world," noting that "the total per capita GDP amounted to about $ 36.7 thousand."
