Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE has topped the list of the world's best cities for expatriates to "settle abroad", according to the Expat Insider 2024 report issued by the global institution "Interpretations".
The emirate ranked first in a list of 53 cities, according to the “Expatriate Essentials Index” conducted by the foundation as part of its annual report, based on four main categories in which it excelled, namely: The administrative category, which included ease of obtaining a visa, dealing with local administrative systems, and opening bank accounts. The housing category, which included affordability and ease of finding housing. The digital life category, which included the availability and speed of online government services. The language category included ease of communication without speaking the local language.
