Gartner Research released the Hype Cycle 2024 emerging technologies report, which included 25 technologies in four key areas, including autonomous artificial intelligence, developer productivity, full experience, and human-centric security and privacy software.
According to Gartner, generative AI has exceeded the peak of exaggerated expectations, with organizations continuing to focus on shifting from the interest sparked by basic models to application use cases that create ROI, which will accelerate the evolution of autonomous AI.
