Chamber of Bahrain Hosts Indian Trade Delegation and Praises Close Trade Ties

The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Samir Nass, confirmed that India is one of Bahrain's largest trade partners, as it ranks sixth as the largest export partner and the seventh largest import partner in 2023, with the volume of trade exchange exceeding one billion US dollars in 2023.

This came during a meeting hosted by an Indian trade delegation with its local counterpart, which was held at the Chamber's headquarters in the presence of India Ambassador to Bahrain Vinod K. Jacob and members of the business community.

Nass stressed the possibility of enhancing trade and investment between the two countries, especially in the food sector, where Bahrain enjoys a strong demand for diverse food products, while India has experience in these fields.

Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vinod K. Jacob, praised the efforts of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its efforts to enhance trade participation between the two countries, including through a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
