Official statistics issued by the Civil Aviation and Airports Office showed that the number of passengers from Tunisian airports increased by 6.2% in the first quarter of this year. The total number of passengers reached approximately 1.76 million in the first quarter of this year.
Tunis-Carthage airport recorded one million and 473 thousand and 527 passengers, a development rate of 5.4 percent, and Djerba-Zarzis airport 240 thousand and 548 passengers. The total number of aircraft movements during the first three months of 2024 reached about 15,394 flights, a growth rate of 5.1 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
