Inbound Tourism to Egypt Has Increased By 6 Percent since the Beginning Of 2024

The Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, revealed that the number of tourists coming to the country has increased by 6% since the beginning of this year, compared to the same period last year.

Minister Issa explained that "the number of tourist traffic coming to Egypt witnessed during 2023 its highest rates, reaching a record number of 14.90 million tourists."

He added that "Egypt received in the fourth quarter of last year about 3.6 million tourists, a growth of 6 percent over the same quarter of 2022."
