Oil prices rose in early trade on Tuesday, as supply concerns continued due to rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
Brent crude futures rose 25 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $82.65 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose 31 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $77.09 a barrel.
Both contracts fell more than a dollar on Monday as a worsening real estate crisis fueled fears of Chinese demand after a Hong Kong court ordered the liquidation of real estate giant China Evergrande.
