Turkish Tourism Revenues Grow 23% in the Second Quarter

Tourism revenues in Turkey jumped, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, by 23.1 percent to $12.98 billion in the second quarter of this year, so the sector continued its strong performance.

Revenues increased in 2022 by 53.4 percent compared to the previous year, to an unprecedented level of $46.28 billion, as the effects of the pandemic that lasted for a long time faded and the repercussions of the Ukraine war prompted the number of Russian arrivals to increase.
