13 Billion Dollars in Remittances from Egyptians Abroad Within 6 Months

Vice President of the Federation of Egyptian Banks and President of Banque du Caire, Tarek Fayed, revealed that Egypt received $13 billion in cash flows from Egyptians abroad, in the first 6 months of this year, stressing that "these flows contributed to providing foreign exchange for the Egyptian state."

He made it clear during his participation in the activities of the fourth edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference, which is organized by the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, with the participation of more than 1,000 people and an association of 56 Egyptian communities abroad, that "there is a good harmony between the fiscal and monetary policies at this time, which reflects positively on the Egyptian economy."

He said, "The Egyptian banking sector has succeeded in absorbing the global economic shocks that occurred in the past periods, after using financial and monetary tools well."
