Oman's Economy grew by 7.4% by the End of the First Quarter

Oman's GDP at current prices at the end of the first quarter of 2023 increased by 7.4 percent to RO 10.4 billion (US$ 27 billion), compared to the end of the first quarter of 2022, during which GDP at current prices reached RO 9.7 billion (US$ 25.1 billion).

According to preliminary data issued by the Sultanate's National Centre for Statistics and Information, the increase was mainly supported by the growth of non-oil activities. Which increased by 6.7 percent to OMR 7.2 billion ($ 18.7 billion) at the end of the first quarter of 2023, compared to about OMR 6.5 billion ($ 17 billion) at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
