The President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce, Al-Ain Nael Al-Kabariti, called on, not to take any hasty decisions to close commercial sectors to combat Corona in the future in order to preserve the safety and durability of the economic sector, indicating the need for full consultation and coordination with all economic sectors on any decision to reduce or reduce working hours.

Al-Kabariti stressed that any economic decision that the government will take in this context must be studied and after consultation with the economic sectors. Al-Kabariti noted that the sectors that have returned to work within the plan to deal with the Corona file from the economic point of view are currently suffering as a result of the losses they suffered due to the closures that took place in the past months to besiege the epidemic.

And he considered that any decision to close in the future for the same reason will lead to paralysis of these sectors, especially those supplying food, medicine and basic life necessities, stressing that the lack of cash resulting from the closure decisions in the first phase to confront the Corona will affect the Kingdom's supply chain for all goods.

Al-Kabariti pointed out that the private sector supplied the Kingdom with food and medicine when the army and security agencies were deployed in the field to protect the citizen’s health to enforce the comprehensive and partial ban decisions, pointing out the importance of the government’s standing with this sector in the current and future stage, especially if the situation passed the blue stage or Yellow. Al-Kabariti stressed that the citizen's health is a priority for everyone, including the private sector, but after life has returned to normal, the government can know that the return of economic activity was not a reason for registering any infection with Corona.
