H.E. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, met with Tom Donohue, President of the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in presence of Sameer Abdullah Nass, President of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss many topics of mutual interest.
Bahrain’s Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism emphasized the depth and longstanding economic relations between Kingdom of Bahrain and United States of America, highlighting the great efforts exerted by the two countries in terms of developing and enhancing their close relations and directing them towards the best interest of both countries.
He pointed out, "the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and United States of America, which concluded to the Free Trade Agreement, are of major interest to the Kingdom of Bahrain.” He added, “they require further work in terms of maximizing the agreement’s benefits, advancing their relations and raising the levels of trade between them to the required levels."
