Samir Nass Discusses Economic & Investment Cooperation with the United States

During his meeting with the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Justin Hicks Siberell, Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Samir Abedullah Nass expressed his pride and appreciation for the distinguished binary and economic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.

Nass praised the volume of investments and trade exchanges between the two countries, which exceeded 3 billion US dollars in 2017, according to the statistics of foreign trade in the Central Informatics Organization, assuring "the continuous pursuit and interest of Bahraini businessmen to develop binary trade relations by opening new channels of investment especially since the opportunities available are many and varied in both countries."

Nass also pointed out to the depth of the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America "promoted by joint cooperation in various fields, especially in the economic and investment fields, in addition to the interest of the Kingdom to draw on American expertise."

For his behalf, the US ambassador noted the distinguished political and economic relations that is linking between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Bahrain, supported by the terms of the free trade agreement signed between the two sides, and he expressed his aspiration to develop and strengthen various aspects of economic cooperation with Bahrain. Revealing the keenness of his country to promoting the investment opportunities throughout strengthening the mechanisms of cooperation between Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the American Chambers of Commerce and Industry to achieve all that serves the development of common economic interests.
