Khaled Al Yahya appointed Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers

The Council of Saudi Chambers appointed Dr. Khaled bin Othman Al-Yahya as Secretary General of the Council, who enjoys wide leadership and management experiences at the local and international levels, as he held the position of Under-Secretary-General of the Saudi Secretariat of the G20, where he participated in several tasks in it, including developing the Kingdom's G20 presidency agenda and economic policies, establishing the T20, W20, Y20, L20, C20, B20 communication group, and managing international cooperation and communication with members of the G20, international organizations and relevant government agencies.

In this context, the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Ajlan Al-Ajlan affirmed, “The selection of Dr. Al-Yahya comes from the Council’s keenness to attract leadership competencies capable of strengthening the role of the Council as an institutional entity that meets the needs of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Saudi business sector is working to develop its economic contribution to the process of social and economic development, especially in light of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, of which one of the axes is the greater contribution of the Saudi private sector to economic development.”

For his part, Dr. Al-Yahya expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors of the Council of Saudi Chambers for choosing him to assume this position, and for their continuous support for the work of the General Secretariat, promising to make all efforts to enhance the role of the Council and achieve its aspirations in implementing the directions of the wise leadership and the Kingdom's 2030 vision, and meeting the aspirations of the business sector in the Kingdom.
