Rida Al Saleh elected as the new president of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Engineer Reda Al Saleh was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, after the seat of the President became vacant, with the appointment of His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al Yousuf, the former Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, as Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion. The seat of Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs was won by Ali Salem Al-Hajri, noting that Rashid Al-Muslehi had submitted his resignation to run for the presidency.

Commenting on his election as Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Eng. Reda bin Jumah Al Saleh, through his personal account on "Twitter", presented the deepest thanks and gratitude to the members of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry on their confidence and his election as Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, asking God to help him, along with the members of the Board of Directors, with the task entrusted to them.

He said: "We hope that we will meet the good expectations and the extent of the trust to serve Oman, His Majesty the Sultan and the private sector, and to move forward in Amman and the Chamber towards Oman Vision 2040 in compliance with the words of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq in his first speech: We are proceeding, with the help of God, on the path of construction and development. We continue the march of the blessed renaissance as the late Sultan, may God have mercy on him, wanted it.”

He explained, "As the responsible party to support and facilitate the interests of the private sector, we seek to prepare the Chamber's strategy and amend its executive regulations in line with the next stage of the renewed renaissance under the wise leadership of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq."
