Election of a New President for the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce

The Council of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce elected Mr. Abdul Razzaq al-Zuhairi, President of the Nazareth Chamber of Commerce, as the new President of the Federation of the Iraqi Chambers of Commerce for the next mandate (2018-2022), succeeding President Jaafar al-Hamdani.
Members of the Federation wished the new president success in his new duties, and in developing the work of the private sector in the trade and economic sectors to serve the country’s interest and helps it prosper.
President al-Zuhairi received congratulations on his election as President of the Union and had in his office General Mohammad Noman Al-Daoudi, President of the Federation of Iraqi Jurists, and his accompanying jurists’ delegation from several Governorates in the presence of Sadiq Al-Faihan, President of Babel Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Bandar, Secretary-General of the Babel Chamber.
The elected President Al-Zuhairi also met with Rasmi Al-Jabri Deputy Chairman of the Iraq-British Business Council (IBBC) and representative of the Council. Al-Jabri wished the new president success in the work of the Federation and the Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, and his keenness to work together to serve the trade in Iraq.
