Khaled Hanafy stresses on the Need to Transform Economic Relations into Strategic Alliances

Dr. Khaled Hanafi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers, participated to the 10th Arab-Austrian Economic Forum in Vienna, Austria under the theme "Transformations of Energy: Urban Technology and Sustainability of Cities, New Opportunities for Cooperation and Partnership". The event was organized by the Austro-Arab Chambers of Commerce and held under the auspices of the President of Austria, in cooperation with the Government of Vienna, the Vienna Business Agency and the Regional Center for Renewable Energy, along with UNIDO and the European Union and in presence of political, diplomatic and economic figures from the Arab world and Europe. In addition, more than 400 Arab companies participated in the side exhibition.
"There are promising opportunities in terms of investment and cooperation in more than one Arab country, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, the reconstruction and North Africa countries," Dr. Hanafi said, urging to the need to transform economic relations into strategic alliances and partnerships, rather than the dominant model adopted on simple trade exchanges ".
During the Ministerial panel, Dr. Khaled Hanafi invited all attendees to participate to the Arab Private sector Forum organized by the Union of Arab Chambers in its headquarters in Beirut, to coincide with the Economic and Social Development Summit that will be held in January in Lebanon. The Summit will be attended by Arab Governors, where the recommendations of the Arab private sector Forum will be presented to them at the Summit.
