Joint talks between Oman’s and Bahrain’s Chambers of Commerce

Mr. Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousuf, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received a delegation from the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by Mr. Khalid Mohammed Najibi, First Vice-Chairman of the Chamber, along with a delegation of Bahraini investors, in order to discuss the development of their joint relations, in all fields.
During their visit, the two sides also raised a number of common economic issues such as elevating contribution to bilateral trade, which reached up to 630 million US dollars by the end of 2017, as well as developing further partnerships, namely through the establishment of an investment company adopted by the private sector in both countries in order to benefit from the available investment opportunities.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance coordination between the two Chambers in order to continue the joint work between the private sector of Oman and Bahrain, which aims at developing cooperation, joint investments and further trade and investment relations, and contributing to the exchange of experiences and expertise in various sectors, especially in the field of logistics, transformative industries, fisheries, mining and tourism.
