Board Member at the Damascus Chamber of Commerce since 1973 and up to date. Meanwhile, Executive Bureau Member, Treasurer, Vice-President, and Board Member of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce for several times. Also, Board Member of the Arab-Italian Chamber of Commerce since 1977; meanwhile, 1^st Vice-President and Vice-President. Also, Board Member of the Syrian Economic Sciences Association (SESA) and Vice-Chairman since 2007.

Started business in 1961, trade & industry of women underwear, contributed to a number of industrial & trade ventures. Also, participated in many economic seminars and lectures through the SESA and the conferences of Arab-Foreign Commerce Chambers.

Elected Member of the Board in 1973 and Executive Bureau Member later on in 1973, the Treasurer in 1977, then Board Member in 1989, and Vice-President in both 2001 and 2005 terms, and President for the current term 2009-2012, and President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce since 5 Jan. 2009.

Al-Qallaa Trading Group; general trade, import & export, raw materials and ready-made products, textile weaving, machine embroidery. Owner & CEO of Al-Qallaa Trading Co.: Chemicals, foodstuffs, distribution of human medicines, interior decor works.
