Omani Hotel Revenues Up By 23.4 Percent

The revenues of hotels in the Sultanate of Oman with a rating of (3-5) stars increased by 23.4% by the end of 2023, reaching RO 299.25 million compared to QAR 185.77 million in 2022.

Statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information attributed this increase to the growth of the total number of hotel guests by 27.1 percent, recording 2.07 million guests by the end of 2023 compared to about 1.63 million guests by the end of 2022, while the occupancy rate recorded a growth of 8.8 percent.

Statistics showed that the number of Omani inmates rose 10 percent, reaching 769.79 thousand guests. Gulf guests increased by 23.8 percent to approximately 198,500 and 489 guests. The number of European guests rose 43.6 percent to 517,270.
