Libya: $17.5 Billion in Revenue in 9 Months

Data from the Central Bank of Libya showed that the value of revenues reached 86.4 billion dinars (about 17.56 billion dollars) during the nine months of 2023, while expenditures during the same period amounted to 76.8 billion dinars (15.6 billion dollars).

According to the Central Bank, oil sales revenues amounted to 67.1 billion dinars, oil royalty revenues for the current year and previous years about 17.6 billion dinars, taxes 481 million dinars, customs 225 million dinars, telecommunications 352 million, the sale of fuel in the local market 120 million, and other revenues 485 million.

The expenditures were distributed on: salaries 38.8 billion dinars, administrative expenses 6.4 billion dinars, development 3 billion dinars and support 15.4 billion dinars, 8.7 billion dinars exceptional financial arrangements for the National Oil Corporation, and 4.5 dinars for the General Electricity Company.
