Samir Majoul Receives the Secretary General of the Arab Brazilian Chamber Of Commerce

The President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts, Samir Majoul, received at the Federation's headquarters in Tunis, the Secretary General of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Tamer Mansour, in the presence of a number of members of the National Executive Office and officials of the Union.

The meeting represented an opportunity to review the good relations between Tunisia and Brazil, which remain below expectations at the level of trade exchanges and economic relations.

The Secretary-General of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce stressed the urgent need to intensify bilateral meetings between the business communities of the two countries and work to establish and strengthen partnerships, by investing in the important potential that Tunisia abounds in, at the level of the quality of its agricultural products and food industries. Mansour renewed his invitation to Tunisia to participate in the next session of the APAS exhibition. Which is the largest exhibition for the food and beverage industries in Latin America, which is held during the month of May of each year in the commercial capital of Brazil, Sao Paulo, stressing the allocation of more space for the Tunisian pavilion in the exhibition during the next session.

For his part, the President of the Union stressed the need to develop a program in agreement with ministries and public structures to study the common economic potential between Tunisia and Brazil, which is the second global producer of agricultural products and has great potential and investment opportunities. In addition to being a promising consumer market for Tunisian products such as olive oil and dates.
