Gulf Economy is expected to grow by 2.9 Percent

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects the GCC's annual real GDP to grow by 2.9 percent in 2023, rising to 3.3 percent in 2024.

The IMF expects the "non-oil" real GDP of the GCC to grow by 4.2 percent in 2023 and 3.9 percent in 2024. The current account balance is expected to reach 8.6 percent this year and 6.5 percent next year, with inflation expected to decline to 2.9 percent in 2023 and 2.3 percent in 2024.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimated real GDP growth for the MENA region at 3.1 percent in 2023.
