Ibrahim Al-Arabi meets the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry

The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Eng. Ahmed Samir, affirmed the ministry’s keenness to enhance cooperation and joint coordination with all business organizations, especially the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, as it is a major partner in the development and development of the Egyptian economy. He stressed that "the ministry will not work in isolation from the business community, as the next phase will witness a focus on following the participatory approach with all concerned parties in order to unify efforts and reach a unified vision for the future of industry and trade in Egypt."

This came during a meeting he held with the President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Arabi, he pointed out that "the current stage requires concerted efforts, whether the government or the private sector, to confront global economic challenges and their repercussions on the Egyptian economy." Stressing "the importance of achieving integration between the policies and directions of the government and the vision and requirements of the business community, which contributes to improving the business environment and climate in Egypt, and then achieving positive growth rates in the sectors of industry and foreign trade."

In turn, Al-Arabi stressed, “The union's keenness to enhance joint cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry to contribute to the implementation of the economic development plans adopted by the government during the current stage. With the availability of all the capabilities of the Federation and its chambers in the governorates to contribute to achieving stability in the local market, through the availability of goods for citizens at reasonable prices and encouraging investment in new projects, especially in the field of small, medium and micro enterprises.”
