Saudi-Jordanian Talks to Boost Industrial Cooperation

The Union of Saudi Chambers of Commerce hosted an industrial delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan headed by the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Mahmoud Al-Shamali, in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Commerce Badr bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Hadab, the First Vice President of the Union of Saudi Chambers, Eng. Tariq Al-Haidari, the President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, and a number of business owners in the two brotherly countries. Minister Youssef Al-Shamali explained that "Jordanian-Saudi relations are stable and rooted, dominated by synergy and a spirit of brotherhood and solidarity, as relations between the two countries have reached their most brilliant periods, with regard to all files of joint Arab political, economic and social work.” He pointed out that "Jordanian industries have become competitive with the industries of developed countries, thanks to royal directives and government plans and policies that focused on developing the industrial sector and enhancing its competitiveness by providing a competitive investment environment and strengthening the pillars of the national economy."

For his part, the First Vice-President of the Union of Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Eng. Tariq Al-Haidari, noted the importance of this forum, and the meaning it bears that emphasize the depth of the strong relations between the two kingdoms, leadership and people, that resulted in distinguished economic relations and great trade exchange, although it did not meet the aspirations of the two sisterly countries. He indicated the role of this meeting in strengthening relations and reaching the stage of comprehensive integration with the support of wise leaders in both countries and the support of business owners.
