Economic Talks Between Oman & Belarus Chambers

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Engineer Readh Juma Mohammed Ali Al Saleh, held a meeting with the President of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce, Vladimir Ulakhovich, as part of the "Chamber... Global Communication" initiative, which aims to hold meetings with heads of chambers of commerce and industry in various countries of the world. Through it, the Chamber seeks to activate the role of relations with countries of the world in serving economic goals, and to develop them to serve strategic projects and create solid economic ties and real business partnerships.

The meeting touched on a number of issues of common interest related to the economic and investment aspect and the development of commercial relations between the Omani and Belarusian private sectors, among them the promotion of joint cooperation in a number of areas such as the information technology sector and tourism, and thus work to encourage and find joint projects that serve the directions of the two sides.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of organizing a virtual forum to encourage the investment and determine the prospects for cooperation between Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus, in the presence of business owners from both sides, presenting opportunities and facilities that can be provided by the Omani and Belarusian sides, as well as holding bilateral meetings to reach joint projects and investments.
