UAE is the 1st in the Arab Region in Anticipating the Future & Adapting to Global Changes

The UAE ranked first in the middle and 12th in the world in anticipating the future and rapidly adapting to global changes in the fields of technology and economy, according to the classification prepared by the "CIO World" magazine. The UAE scored 56.29 points on the index, outperforming countries such as the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, France, Sweden and Russia.

The ranking is based on an analysis and evaluation of the performance of 152 countries around the world across 10 main categories: availability of government services online, mobile phone access, bureaucratic procedures, cashless payment, high-speed internet availability at home, entrepreneurial experience, and innovation in technology, open access to the internet, and digital lifestyle.

In its classification, the magazine relied on reliable data from the Economist Unit, the World Economic Forum, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, US News reports, the World Bank and the United Nations.

The United Kingdom topped the rankings with 75.15 points, Japan ranked second with 67.22 points, Germany ranked third with 65.15 points, Singapore ranked fourth, and South Korea ranked fifth.
