The President of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammad Al-Sager, affirmed the chamber’s keenness to deepen the economic relations between Kuwait and Italy, and to open new horizons for cooperation in order to achieve common goals, through the concerted efforts of the concerned authorities, whether at the level of the public or private sector.

This came during a meeting with the Italian ambassador to Kuwait, Carlo Balducci, where Al-Sager expressed the economic importance that Italy represents for Kuwait as one of the largest trading partners, pointing out that the Kuwaiti business community looks forward to more cooperation to increase the volume of trade exchange and establish investment projects between the two countries."

For his part, Balducci explained that "the joint relations between the two friendly countries have witnessed remarkable developments in recent times, especially after the first Kuwaiti and Italian strategic dialogue meeting was held last November, in which the two sides expressed their satisfaction with the results of this meeting, which aims to strengthen the common relations in all vital sectors."

Balducci touched on the proposal to establish an economic forum led by representatives of the private sector from the two countries, through which investment and trade opportunities are presented, urges for strategic partnerships, and introduces the regulations, legal systems and incentives provided to attract direct capital.
