Al-Sager Visits the New Amir of Kuwait, Congratulating: Your Message is Reform & Your Means are Justice & Firmness

The Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, stressed the importance of the role of the private sector in diversifying sources of income and strengthening the national economy.

This came during his meeting with the President of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Muhammad Al-Sager and the members of the Chamber, where he stressed the need for concerted efforts to achieve development and face the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, which increased the challenges in Kuwait and the world, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination with the relevant agencies to combine joint efforts to achieve the desired development goals, indicating the need to work hard to keep pace with the successive economic developments in the world in light of the difficulties and challenges the global economy is witnessing due to the Corona pandemic. For his part, Al-Sager congratulated HH the Amir on assuming the reins of government, praising the upscale constitutional transition to government, noting the path of His Highness full of giving and achievements. He added, "we brought you congratulations on this complete unanimity on your pledge of allegiance and the popular rallying under your banner, and with hope laden with your pledge, and you have served the country with diligence, sincerity and competence."

He also affirmed that "the upscale constitutional transition to government can only be achieved in countries whose democracy stems from the love of their people, and only states whose rulers are the free choice of their people and whose people are the invincible bulwark of their rule." He concluded: "your message is reform and then reform, and your means is justice and firmness, and your insight is certainly wisdom and faith."
