Al-Ubaidi meets the Minister of Trade in the Republic of Djibouti

The Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Obaidi discussed with His Excellency the Minister of Commerce of the Republic of Djibouti Hassan Hamad Ibrahim, ways to support and strengthen economic cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and push them towards broader horizons, in light of the support and political will of the Saudi and Djiboutian leaderships, and the promising opportunities available in both countries.

During the meeting, the Djiboutian Minister of Trade, Hassan Hamad Ibrahim noted the development witnessed by the economic relations between the two countries during the recent period of holding joint economic meetings and signing agreements for cooperation, as well as the establishment of the Saudi Djibouti Business Council, which relies heavily on advancing trade relations for an upward path, he pointed out the advantages enjoyed by his country in terms of political stability and its strategic geographical location as an entrance to the countries of the African continent and the compatibility of the vision between the leadership of the two countries as well as investment opportunities and a stimulating environment.

For his part, Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Obeidi stressed the interest and seriousness of the Saudi business sector in investing in Djibouti because of his conviction of the existence of promising opportunities and a stimulating environment, and his readiness to translate the directions of the leaders of the two countries and their aspirations for realistic business projects through activating cooperation between the Saudi business sectors and Djibouti.
