Al-Obaidy Discusses Ways to Enhance Economic Cooperation with Ghana

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana, Shirley Botchway, affirmed her country's desire to strengthen its economic relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising the pioneering role that the Kingdom plays regionally and internationally on the economic level, noting that Ghana has many investment opportunities that attract Saudi investors, and it represents an important commercial center for the West African countries.

This came during her meeting with her accompanying delegation with the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Obaidy at the headquarters of the Council, where she stressed on the importance of the role of the Saudi and Ghanaian business sectors in advancing the course of economic relations between the two countries.

For his part, Dr. Sami Al-Obaidy, the Chairman of the CSC considered that the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana will give a strong impetus to the economic relations between the two countries and to extend bridges of cooperation between the Saudi and Ghanaian business sectors. Calling to work on several tracks for the development of economic relations between the two countries, pointing to "the necessity of raising the volume of trade exchange on the side of exports and imports and benefiting from the Saudi Export Support Bank, in addition to working to enhance cooperation between small and medium enterprises in both countries."
