UAE Announces a 5 Years Tourist Visa

The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, revealed a change in the tourist visa system in the UAE, so that the duration of the tourist visa is 5 years and multi-use for all nationalities.

This came during his presidency of the first meeting of the Council of Ministers in the new year, in which he reviewed the achievements of a year ago and a plan for a new year. He pointed out: “we receive more than 21 million tourists annually, and our aim is to establish the country as a major global tourism destination”.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stressed that "the year 2020 will be a different year because it is the year of the 50th year of preparation, the year in which we design the future emirates."

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has issued a document of its most prominent points: the formation of the "Dubai Council" to supervise 6 strategic paths to keep pace with growth in the emirate, namely: Dubai's economy, citizen services, government development, infrastructure, security and justice, health and knowledge.
