International Manifestation at the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2019

HH Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for the Environment of Bahrain said that the Kingdom of Bahrain's hosting of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2019, under the patronage of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reflects His Majesty's interest in promoting entrepreneurship and investment and translates the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2030, and its path towards adopting the best international practices to promote investment and the technology of fourth industrial revolution by supporting the Bahraini youth & women.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2019, attended by 500 participants of entrepreneurs, investors, financiers, and experts, he said that the Kingdom of Bahrain is striving to empower entrepreneurs and stimulate innovation through Vision 2030, and we are proud of the achievements in the field of entrepreneurship and investment under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister.

His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa confirmed that the Supreme Council for the Environment continues to exert local and international efforts towards achieving sustainable development goals through cooperation with government agencies, the private sector and civil society in the Kingdom of Bahrain and including the international organizations concerned with sustainable development, for the Supreme Council for the Environment belief in the importance of overcoming the global challenges facing our environment and our development, and the urgent need to activate the spirit of initiative and innovation in order to achieve a better and sustainable future for all.

He also expressed the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain for its continuous cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for more than 20 years, which has become a role model internationally, especially in the dissemination of the concepts of the enterprise development and investment promotion program, noting that the first UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office was opened in Bahrain in 1996,  and to promote this cooperation, the Arab International Center for Entrepreneurship and Investment was opened in The Kingdom of Bahrain in 2000. At the end of his speech Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa pointed out that this successful experience has had fruitful results at the regional and international level, especially after it has been implemented in 52 different countries throughout the world.
