The Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce Senator Nael Al-Kabariti affirmed the Chamber's keenness to enhance trade and investment cooperation with Estonia in many vital economic sectors.

During the opening of the Jordanian-Estonian Business Forum, Al-Kabariti stressed that "Jordan enjoys security and stability and provides incentives and benefits for business owners wishing to establish investments in the Hashemite Kingdom, and supported by economic agreements with various international trade blocs," stressing on "the need for the two countries' economic relations to rise to the levels of their political relationship," pointing to "the need to search for commercial areas of cooperation in order to increase it and raise the volume of trade and investment exchange between the two countries and expand the commodity base."

Mr. Kabariti pointed out that "the trade balance between Jordan and Estonia is less than desired, especially in terms of exports of the Kingdom, which was less than one million dollars last year compared to 13 million dollars of imports," stressing that "Jordan has a lot of products that meet the needs of Estonia markets."

"Jordan wishes to benefit from Estonia's expertise in energy, renewable energy, telecommunications, information technology and electronic commerce," he said.

He also commended "the international expertise possessed by Jordan in the field of information technology," stressing the "need to strengthen the cooperation in this regard," and called for the need to adopt the Jordan Chamber of Commerce to facilitate the granting of travel visas for Jordanian business owners.
