The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Senator Nael Raja Al-Kabariti, stressed that " Jordan has strong official, public and economic relations in particular with Iraq at various levels," praising all the efforts made to build new bridges of cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Kabariti words came during a visit by an Iraqi parliamentary delegation to the Jordan Chamber of Commerce to discuss means of strengthening the economic relations of the two countries and tackling the obstacles facing them, pointing out that "the implementation of the agreements often needs time to translate them on the ground in addition to the security and logistical arrangements, stressing on “the need to remove any obstacles that impede the flow of goods between the two countries."

Al-Kabariti presented a proposal to establish an office for economic coordination within the headquarters of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce to receive complaints and inquiries and follow up with the responsible authorities in both countries, confirming the need for Jordan and Iraq to be partners in development rather than as competitors.

He also pointed out the importance of building a logistic city on the borders of the two countries to serve their common interests as well as expanding the cooperation with other neighboring countries, stressing that the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce which he also chairs, is also ready to establish a coordination office in its headquarters to address any obstacles facing the transport and logistics sector.
