Federation of UAE Chambers Discusses Economic Cooperation with Indonesia

"The business environment in the Republic of Indonesia is a promising investment," said HE Hamid Mohammed Bin Salem, Secretary-General of the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, pointing out to "the need to enhance and strengthen the cooperation ties by intensifying the economic delegations’ visits as well as providing information on Indonesian investment climate opportunities".

On the sidelines of H.E. Eng. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy & Industry, and the UAE Economic Action Team participating in the bilateral meeting with the Republic of Indonesia, Bin Salem stressed that "the UAE private sector has long experience with foreign investments through several projects in different countries of the world."

H.E. Abdullah Gharir Al Qubaisi, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), said during a meeting with representatives of the private sector in Jakarta and a group of business owners participating in the UAE-Indonesia trade meeting on the importance of benefiting from the various investment opportunities available in both countries." He added, pointing out to "the importance of doubling the efforts to introduce businessmen and investors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and companies and institutions of the Indonesian business environment in the areas of investment and the sectors of interest that benefit the two friendly countries."
