Al Rumaithi discusses opportunities for economic and investment cooperation with Costa Rica

Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Muhammad Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi discussed with the H.E. Francisco J. Chacon Hernandez, Costa Rican Ambassador to the UAE, opportunities for economic and investment cooperation between business communities in both countries.

Al Rumaithi stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between companies and private sector institutions in light of the distinguished economic relations between the two sides, especially as the figures and statistics related to the volume of the current trade and investment do not reflect ambitions, he pointed out that there are promising opportunities and wide horizons to build bridges of cooperation at all levels of trade and investment, and expand partnerships in the sectors of renewable energy, agriculture, industry, tourism, health care, education and food security.

Francisco J. Chacon Hernandez invited the Abu Dhabi Chamber to attend the large trade fair to be held next September in the Republic of Costa Rica, specializing in food and agriculture and food security. He also invited UAE companies and investors to explore investment opportunities available in Costa Rica, stressing the availability of government legislation to ensure investment opportunities and facilities, especially private sector companies operating in Abu Dhabi and wishing to invest in Costa Rica.
