BCCI Looks to Upgrade the Bahraini Private Sector

The 30th meeting of the Joint Economic Committee between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held at the Merchant House, discussed several topics that focused on upgrading the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting also reviewed a number of common issues, the most important of which are the requirements of the small traders to meet them and overcome the various obstacles & challenges they are facing.

H.E. Zayed Bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, affirmed the government's support for all steps and initiatives aimed at developing the economic sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and strengthening the legislative structure to serve the general interest of the national economy.

For his part, Sameer Abdulla Ahmed Nass, the Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his great appreciation to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for all efforts exerted to improve the national economy and achieve the visions and strategies of the government in this regard. He also stressed the importance of consultation in order to reach shared visions that enhance the role of the Chamber as an active and interactive partner in the formulation of the economic decision.
