Qatar's Foreign Reserves Grew 31 percent

International reserves and foreign currency liquidity at Qatar Central Bank recorded a growth of 31 percent year-on-year at the end of November 2018, to reach $48.4 billion at the highest level in 30 months.

Official data released by Qatar Central Bank revealed that Qatar's foreign assets rose by 93 percent to about $ 16.7 billion at the end of November, while the foreign securities and treasury bills increased by 182 percent to about $11 billion compared to $3.9 billion in November of 2017.

Qatar also increased its holdings of gold by the end of the year 2018 to about 31.3 tons, with the value of 1.2 billion dollars.
