UAC Attends ABCC Annual Winter Reception

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, Mohamad Abdo Saeed, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Union, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, and the Director of the Joint Arab and Foreign Chambers, Hoda Kashtan, attended the annual festive reception of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) on the evening of the 11th December 2018, in the presence of many Ambassadors, Dignitaries and Executives from the public and private sectors from both Arab and British sides.

During the reception, the candidate of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Bandar Ali Reda, was appointed Secretary-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce. He was nominated by the Board of Directors of the Union of Arab Chambers and approved by the Board of Directors of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce. Moreover, the candidate Abdul Salam Al Idrissi was appointed as Deputy Secretary-General under approval of the Board of Directors of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Khaled Hanafi took this opportunity to thanks the Arab-British Chamber for their invitation and praised the active role played by ABCC until now. He also wished the new Secretary General and Chief Executive success in the continuation of the work of the Chamber in ensuring prosperity in the economic relations between Britain and Arab countries.
