Cooperation Protocol to list Egyptian Companies in “Kuwait Vision 2035” Projects

President of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, Ahmed El-Wakil, signed a cooperation protocol with the Chairman of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ali Thanyan AlGhanem, listing Egyptian companies under “Kuwait Vision 2035” project, whose infrastructure projects’ budget exceeds $100 billion.
This came on the sidelines of the 12th session of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Joint Committee that was held in Kuwait under the presidency of the first deputy to the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah & his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.
El-Wakil pointed out that "There has been a consensus on many aspects of cooperation, namely, investment, trade and development between the two countries, which was incorporated into the recommendations of the Joint Committee. It was also agreed for Egyptian companies to establish alliances with their Kuwaiti counterparts in the reconstruction of Iraq and in agricultural and industrial projects.”
