Kuwait's Budget Surplus Falls

Revenues received by Kuwait until the end of the seventh month of the fiscal year 2018/2019, hit nearly 12.12 billion dinars, accounting for 80.4% of the total estimated revenues for the entire fiscal year at 15.08 billion dinars.
According to the report released by Kuwait’s Ministry of Finance, actual Oil revenues until 31/10/2019 attained 11.36 billion dinars, accounting for 85.3% of the estimated oil revenues for the entire current fiscal year at 13.318 billion dinars, and 93.7% of total revenues, with Oil’s price averaging $72 a barrel during the fiscal year 2018/2019.
An estimation of KD 766.33 million worth of non-oil revenues were collected during the same period at a monthly rate of KD 109.47 million, while the budget for the entire fiscal year was estimated at KD 1.77 billion.
