Towards More Integration and Cooperation Between Gulf States

His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, received the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Khaled Al-Rawdan and Secretary-General of the Gul Cooperation Council, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, GCC Commerce and Industry Ministers, Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ali Al-Ghanem, and heads of GCC commerce chambers, on the occasion of the 56th meeting of the committee of the commercial and industrial cooperation of the GCC’s General Secretariat in Kuwait. The meeting was attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah.
In this context, Al-Ghanem called for more cooperation and integration between the GCC countries, in light of the difficult political and economic conditions at the international and regional levels, mentioning that "increasing cooperation and enhancing integration among the GCC countries would transform the countries of the region into an economic entity capable of facing all economic challenges, considering that the private sector plays a major role in achieving this cooperation and integration.”
