Election of Omar Moro as President of FCCISM

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Services of Morocco held its extraordinary general meeting to elect a new president and office at its headquarters in Rabat. Omar Moro, current president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services in Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, was elected president of the Moroccan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services for the next period 2018-2021.
The outgoing president, Mustafa Amhal, was appointed as honorary president in recognition of his efforts to serve the Federation and for the Chambers of commerce, industry, and services.
The heads of the chambers delivered a letter to the Moroccan King Mohammed VI after the meeting, in which they praised his positions and directives to improve the business climate, encourage investment and raise the competitiveness of Moroccan enterprises. They also expressed their full involvement in the promotion of chambers of commerce, industry, services, and their Federation through activating their development plans signed with the government in order to raise the level of performance of these institutions and improve their pace of entrepreneurship and encourage free initiative.
