Jordan is Regionally the best in the AML Index

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan topped the regional list of the “Basel” International Index, which measures the quality of AML/CFT frameworks, while Tajikistan, Mozambique, and Afghanistan were listed among the world's most dangerous countries in passing suspicious financial transactions.
The Basel VII Governance Report, issued in its seventh edition, ranks 129 countries according to risk levels, ranking the countries from the most serious in the fight against money laundering to the minimum, based mainly on the quality of anti-money laundering frameworks and combating the financing of terrorism in each country.
According to the Basel 2018 laundering index, Tajikistan ranked first as the world's most dangerous country with a score of 8.30 points, followed by Mozambique & Afghanistan (8.28), Laos (8.25) and Guinea Bissau (8.16).
