Choucair discusses ways to develop economic relations with Mexico

President of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers Mohammed Choucair discussed with the Ambassador of Mexico in Lebanon José Ignacio Madrazo the means of developing economic relations and enhancing cooperation between the private sector in both countries. Stressing "The interest of the Lebanese private sector in developing economic relations with Mexico, which embraces a large and active Lebanese community, who can play a special role in increasing cooperation between businessmen in both countries."
Choucair explained that "there are many promising opportunities that can be worked on jointly, and it is necessary to create a framework for communication and coordination between the private sector to benefit from," pointing to "the need to increase trade exchange, which is still at low levels" calling for "facilitating the entry of Lebanese products with the highest specifications to Mexican markets."
In turn, the Mexican Ambassador thanked Choucair for his interest in developing bilateral economic relations, pointing out "Mexico's desire to push these bilateral relations forward, especially as Lebanon enjoys a vital economy and a privileged position in the heart of the Arab region."
